Tim Hortons has finally launched a new item called Poutine. It may be a new word for some people but it’s a comfort food bowl in Canada and Canadians often enjoyed this bow from the menu years.
What’s so special about “Poutine”:
Well, this bowl is known for its signature potato wedges deeply dipped in rich tangy gravy along with bacon bits, and garnishing of gooey cheese on top. But is this dish worth the money? Here is my review after trying out this item from Tim Hortons menu.
My Review:
At first look, I found this poutine bowl to be much more flavorful and creamy texture because of the gravy and cheese. But I didn’t have the same feeling after I ate this Poutine. These items are individually tasty including the potato wedges and cheesy bacon bits but the reality doesn’t match anywhere closer to this item’s hype.
Where is the Problem:
Well, one of the issues that started with poutine is balancing the right amount of flavors. The gravy is a bit extra exploiting the taste of crispy potato wedges and overwhelming it while the bacon is good for covering this issue with its crunchiness. But it is not recommended to any age because the components like cheese and gravy at the same time make its heavy for some people especially not to eat at night.
Review of Social media:
Social media reactions are mixed but most lovers of Tim Hortons appreciate them for their new products introduced in the Philippines. Especially the young ones saying “YASSSSSS” as a moment of joy after trying out this dish while some of them are not recommending it. If you don’t mind trying heavy meals and you never try the exact poutine bowl in Canadian style then you can enjoy this Poutine otherwise you have to Skip to Canada for the exact flavor.
Summary:
In the end, I want you to try this poutine at once but remember it may be a big hit from your side or maybe a bad experience depending on your taste buds. But don’t be surprised if you are amazed by this poutine because Tim always tries to make people enjoy their menu.
