Ingredients

  • 3 cups 510 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can 14 oz / 397 g sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups marshmallow creme marshmallow fluff, about one 7 oz jar

Method

  1. Line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides.
  2. Melt the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter in a saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth, 3-5 minutes. (Or microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each.)
  3. Remove from the heat and stir in the vanilla and salt.
  4. Pour the chocolate mixture into the lined pan and smooth the top.
  5. Drop the marshmallow creme over the top in spoonfuls.
  6. Drag a butter knife through in a few figure-eight motions to swirl. Do not over-swirl.
  7. Refrigerate at least 2 hours, until firm.
  8. Lift out by the parchment and cut into 36 small squares, wiping the knife between cuts.

Notes

Swirl only a few times so the marshmallow ribbons stay visible. Store airtight with parchment between layers — 1 week at room temperature, 2 weeks in the fridge, or freeze up to 2 months.
